Housed in the Goldenes Dachl, the ‘Olympia Museum’ celebrates the two Winter Olympic games which have been held in Innsbruck; the IX and XII respectively in 1964 and 1976. Along with memorabilia depicting the winners from the games and the postage stamps issued to commemorate the occasions, the museum also shows videos of the most important events. Information can be discovered about the games themselves and how they were awarded, as well as the mascots, emblems and posters of the competitions.
