Pöchlarn boasts one of the best equipped municipal swimming pools and leisure centres in the region. The pool water is heated to 24 degrees centigrade by solar energy so taking a swim here is always a pleasure and there is a large grassed area for sunbathing and relaxing. There is a 50 metre long water chute provided for the fun of the visitors and a special area set aside for children, including a smaller baby chute. Other areas are provided for such activities as beach volleyball and beach soccer.
