The Bauernmuseum Kalladorf was opened in 1982 to document agricultural prectises before the age of mechanisation. The comprehensive collections took a number of years to assemble and as the museum grew it also encompassed other aspects of the farming community such as the dramatic changes in agricultural practises in the last few decades. The exhibits include simple hand tools, such as scythes, and carts, ploughs, threshing machines and tractors. The museum is divided into the following sections; tillage, sowing, threshing, transportation, feed processing, mechanisation and agricultural development.
