The Tischlermuseum is dedicated to the history of carpentry and Austrian furniture making in particular. The museum contains displays of old wood working tools and machinery from the workshops of carpenters, cabinet makers and coopers. There are also many examples of the carpenters craft including examples of wood samples and work pieces from the National Vocational School for Carpenters. Elaborately crafted Holztruhe, or chest, which was made by the pupils over several years, is of particular interest.
