Housed in the exclusive J. & L. Lobmeyr shop on Kärtnerstrasse, the Wiener Glasmuseum tells the history of Lobmeyr-glass from its humble beginnings in 1823. Almost 200 years of work can be seen in the magnificent exhibits of antique glass and crystal. An extraordinary range of chandeliers includes a copy of the 1960s chandelier from the New York Metropolitan Opera and there is also a good overview of the history of glass. Take a look at the exquisite glass products in the shop which are renowned the world over.
