Vösendorf’s eight thousand year history is encapsulated in the collections of the Schlossmuseum, housed, as the name suggests in the eight hundred year old castle. Apart from the exhibits devoted to local history and the history of the castle, the museum incorporates a historic brick making exhibition and the Peter Jordan memorial room. Peter Jordan was a 19th century agrarian pioneer and university teacher. Amongst the many items in the castle those of note include a clock mechanism from 1670 and a detailed model of Vösendorf as it existed before the Turkish invasion of 1683.
