Zwingendorf Village Museum, in the old maltings, opened in 1990 and was extended and updated in 2007 to commemorate the village’s eight hundredth anniversary. The focus of the village museum is local culture; documentation of the past, village history and everyday life both past and present. The museum hosts regular events which present village history, historical and environmental issues, as well as exhibitions on current issues. There is also an interesting section devoted to the local flora, fauna and ecology.
