Opened in 1989, in the superb preserved Baroque interior of a building on Schulhof, this traditional museum houses an assortment of dolls and toys from the past three centuries. The collection of dolls and dolls houses is one of the most notable in the world, with exhibits as old as 1740. Some of the most fascinating dolls are examples of the splendid doll-making heritage of Germany. With a varied assortment of teddy bears, toys and trains this is an intriguing museum for all ages.
