Opened in 2001, this is Austria’s first institution dedicated exclusively to the genre of contemporary dance and performance. Its ever changing programme consists of in-house and touring productions, as well as workshops, symposia, lectures and discussions. The performance venues, Halle G and the Studios, show the most innovative current art forms and trends. There is a theory and information centre (with a public library, video library and journal gallery) included as part of the comprehensive facilities.
