The Hammerwerk Eybl, more commonly known as the Strunz Hammer, is a historic, water powered hammer mill, once a common industrial plant in the area of Ybbsitz which has been associated with iron working for centuries. For economic reasons this type of process became extinct commercially in the middle of the last century and it was only by chance that this mill was saved and now has protected status. The mill nowadays is used for forging demonstrations and courses.
