The Hochsonnleiten organic farm owes its name to its special geographical location as it is centred on the highest in a group of four farms. The farm specializes in milk production and cattle breeding but is most famous for its excellent schnapps which has been rightly earned several prestigious awards. The liquor is distilled from fermented high quality fruit which is harvested from the farm’s two hundred and fifty fruit trees. The establishment also produces dried fruit in its own drying house.
