The Grestenberg farm has over four hundred fruit trees and ranks as one of the biggest producers of schnapps in Ybbsitz. Since the turn of the last century the farm has produced milk, bred cattle, grown Christmas trees and operated an award winning distillery. The owners take pride in the fact that the fruit which is used to manufacture the liquor is harvested by hand from their own plantation. The schnapps is of such high quality that it is exported as far abroad as Japan and China.
