Producing delicious beers, brewed according to old recipes, and pleasant award winning beer brandies, this working brewery, with a 450 year history, coincide tours with the three batches of brew made each week. See the brewmaster making Pilsner Beer and Weizen Beer using traditional processes and Bavarian traditions. Beers include Salm Braeu PILS, Salm Braeu HELLES and Salm Braeu MÄRZEN. The beautiful distillery next door concocts the brandies, high percentage alcohol made from beer. This is a great glimpse into the brewing of a local beer and the presentation packs and souvenirs make wonderful alternative gifts.
