The Rupertisee, at an elevation of 1580 metres, is a storage reservoir built to provide water for the creation of artificial snow in the winter. Because of its wonderful situation with amazing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys it has become an essential place to visit. Using the "Flying Mozart" gondola lift, you will be able to enjoy a scenic ride and quickly reach the summit station which is the start of a theme trail, taking you across alpine meadows, past springs and mountain streams, all the way down to the shores of the Rupertisee. There is a well signposted path around the lake with play equipment for children and places to take refreshment.
