The Tulln Roman museum in the Marc Aurel park is devoted to the military and civilian history of the Roman occupation of Lower Austria and, in particular, the city of Tulln which was the site of the Roman military camp Comagenis. The period covered is from approximately 90 to 480 AD. In addition to models and reconstructions of various aspects of Roman life, there are many original archaeological finds; inscriptions, grave stones, glass ware, pottery and a hoard of coins. The exhibits conclude with a section devoted to St. Severin who lived in Tulln from 460 to 480 AD.
