Miracles Wax Museum, which can be found next door to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s birthplace, is devoted to an evocation of Salzburg in the year 1791 when the city was at a peak politically and culturally. There is a reconstruction of the historic Getreidegasse and its shops and homes with speaking and moving life-sized wax figures. State of the art video and media installations present information about the city of Salzburg at the end of the 18th century. In addition visitors can admire the house with magnificent rooms from the time of Mozart.
