This museum, formerly a Thonet chair factory, is home to a permanent exhibition of creations by Austrian hippy artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. Filled with his fantastical paintings, drawings, ecological and architectural projects, many of which were never built, the collection gives an insight into the philosophy and imagination of the man. There are regular temporary exhibitions of works by internationally renowned avant-garde and contemporary artists such as David LaChapelle, Pierre & Gilles, Jean-Michel Basquiat ,Chagall, Picasso, and Cecil Beaton.
