The Imperial museum in Türnitz is housed in the converted old mill called the Schafluckmühle in the Sulzbachtal. This is one of many museums in Austria which celebrate the Imperial past, which dates back to the Holy Roman Empire. Here we have a collection of more than four hundred exhibits associated with more recent emperors. The exhibits include photographs, documents and flags. Of particular interest is the napkin stand belonging to Empress Zita, a member of the Hungarian royal family, and a stool which once belonged to Emperor Karl.
