The Jagdmuseum is housed in the former hunting lodge of the St. Florian monastery, Schloss Hohenbrunn, designed by the Baroque architect Jakob Prandtauer. The museum is devoted to the preservation of hunting traditions and to showing how hunting developed. The collections include hunting equipment such as weapons and accessories from the last four centuries as well as pictures, porcelain, tapestries and glassware. Here you can also learn about hunting techniques, hunting dogs and even how to prepare your freshly caught game.
