Once an object of scepticism, this stunning modern architecture is now considered an example of how old and new architecture can combine harmoniously. The architect, Hans Hollein, first unveiled the building in 1990 and the metal-coated glass and polished stone provides great reflective photo opportunities with St Stephen’s Cathedral opposite. The building, named after its previous incarnation as Philipp Haas & Sons furniture store, is now a mixture of office and retail. Enjoy a spectacular view of St. Stephen’s Cathedral from the top.
