The Galerie Blaugelbezwettl is one of the most important modern art galleries in Lower Austria. In its short history, it was founded in 1988, it has hosted hundreds of shows by the best domestic and international contemporary artists. Not only that, but it has helped enormously to promote Austrian art and to educate the Austrian public. The exhibitions hosted by the gallery, which is run by the Zwettl Art Association, offer a wide ranging and eclectic mixture of media; painting, sculpture, photography, printing, graphic design and multimedia.
