This was Mozart’s home from 1884 to 1887 along with his wife Constanze and their son, Karl Thomas. The time he spent here was amongst his most productive and included work such as his opera ‘The Marriage of Figaro’. The building, which was regularly visited by Josef Haydn and where Johann Nepomuk Hummel was a pupil, has a beautiful courtyard, with views along Blutgasse. There is an example of the original marble and stucco décor as well as other exhibits and the chance to hear some of this great composer’s music.
