The Dragonermuseum, which opened in 1956, is housed in the former dragoon barracks. It shows the history of the 4th Dragoon regiment which was stationed here during the First World War. In 1919 a group of former dragoons founded an association to maintain the camaraderie and tradition of the regiment. They were initially unsuccessful in establishing a regimental museum here but, finally, the headquarters of the association moved back to here in 1998 after 80 years.
