The waitresses that still address you in the third person, the extravagant décor of gilt-leaf chandeliers and wood panelling, designed in the 19th century by Portois and Fix, and the astounding shop window displays are all attractions of this famous bakers and confectionery shop, but the food? Make sure you leave room for the amazing selection of pastries, ice-cream creations, connoisseur chocolates and candies and in particular the Senegaltorte and Sachertorte. There is a museum, opened in 2000, located in the basemen, taking visitors on a nostalgic trip back through the history of this famous establishment.
