At an overall height of 252 metres the Donauturm, located in Donaupark, was built in 1964 for the Vienna International Garden Show and was designed by the architect Hans Lintl. Being Vienna’s highest tourist attraction, the observation deck, 150 metres above the ground and reached via a lift, offers a superb 360° view of the city below. Take the additional flight of stairs to reach the piece de resistance of the revolving restaurant. Take some refreshment and enjoy the 26 minute revolution offering you a slowly changing panorama of Vienna and beyond.
