The Sammlung Bodingbauer is housed in an elegant Biedermeier townhouse from the year 1842. The collection contains a fine private collection of vernacular furnishings from the Traun and Hausruck areas in addition to some rare oil paintings and exquisite prints. The museum’s unique claim to fame is the collection of Baroque thesis manuscripts belonging to Prof. Adolf Karl Bodingbauer.
