The Blau Gelbe Weistrach, which opened in the late 1980s, is an art gallery dedicated to contemporary art in Lower Austria. The frequently changing exhibitions cover all forms of modern art, from painting to sculpture. The gallery’s program is devised in co-operation with the exhibiting artists, and in that way it acts as an artists’ co-operative and provides an outlet for artists who otherwise might be unfairly neglected. A visit to the gallery is always a rewarding experience because of the policy of showing the broadest possible spectrum of cutting edge art.
