Irnfritz-Messern’s Erlebnis Wanderweg is more than a simple themed walk and cycle route through a beautiful part of the Waldviertel. It takes in the whole spectrum of the regions landscape; streams, waterfalls, meadows, shady forest. The route leads up to the observation platform with wonderful views over the Taffatal. Along the way there are a number of interesting places to visit, for example, the Illy-Mühle where you can buy organic produce. Dotted around there are information boards which give an insight into the history of the landscape and the flora and fauna.
