The Dreifaltigkeitssäule was constructed in 1747 to celebrate deliverance from the plague. The column, which stands on the site of a former pillory, was donated by a citizen of Korneuburg, Johann Michael Jochinger, and is carved from sandstone from Zogelsdorf. At the base of the column there are statues of John the Baptist, Jacob and St. Aegidius, a patron saint of the town. Three reliefs show the virtues; faith, hope and charity, and representations of the holy family, over which are statues of the archangels Michael, Raphael and Gabriel. The column is topped by a statue of the coronation of the Virgin Mary.
