The Schatzkammer of the Wallfahrtsbasilika Maria Taferl is an outstanding Baroque chamber which was built to house the treasures and valuables belonging to the pilgrimage church. The room is decorated with colourful ceiling frescos and wall paintings illustrating many miracles. Apart from the main purpose as a storage vault, the chamber also exhibits the devotion and dedication to the Mother of God. Even the boxes in which the votive offerings are stored are outstanding examples of Baroque art, having been made in 1665 by Porr.
