The Mährisch-Schlesische Heimatmuseum in the Rostockvilla documents the turbulent history and fate of the Sudetenland Germans. The collections and exhibits were put together by the Viennese collector Frau Theuer-Krause beginning just after the First World War. In 1957 the museum was founded and moved to Klosterneuburg in 1973. Frau Theuer-Krause assembled a huge number of objects connected with the Sudeten Germans; books, maps, picture postcards, magazines and documents, as well as folk art with Christmas cribs, pictures, textiles, table-ware and everyday articles.
