The Landestheater is Upper Austria’s most important theatre and concert performance organisations. The theatre, which has a number of performance spaces, presents a stimulating programme of operas, plays, ballet, operetta and musicals, performed by internationally famous artists, and is especially well known for its support for performances aimed at a younger audience. It is home to Linz’s internationally famous Bruckner Orchestra, one of the most prominent Central European orchestras, which has been in existence for two hundred years. The orchestra sponsors and active programme of concerts and events for a younger people.
