The parish church of St. Vitus, which was established in 1230, is an architectural and ecclesiastical monument from the late Romanesque and early Gothic school. The church consists of a main nave and two transepts. The main altar, built in 1745 by Ignaz Lengelacher, is an outstanding example of Baroque art and depicts the martyrdom of St. Vitus and is complemented by a beautiful pulpit from the same era. The Baroque west portal of the church is thought to be the work of J. B. Fischer von Erlach.
