Langenlois’ Stadtpfarrkirche is a magnificent example of Gothic architecture, touched as is almost every church in the area by the Baroque. As a result of a sympathetic restoration in the 1950s, the early Gothic character of the church was exposed. The church has a tall central nave with two transepts, added in the late 13th century and early 14th century. The frescos on the columns and walls of the transepts as well as the representation of the Evangelist in the choir also date from the 14th century.
