The parish church of the Name of Mary, “Maria Namen”, is remarkable not only for its long history and architecture but also for the superb lime wood winged altar dating from around 1515, showing both Gothic and Renaissance influences. The central focus is a relief representation of the Madonna and Child surrounded both by saints and commoners with angels placing a crown on her head. The theme for the side panels is the Life of the Virgin.
