The Myrafälle begin at the outflow from the Karnerwirt reservoir although the river which feeds the falls, the Myrabach, rises on the Unterberg. From the reservoir, the water falls through fourteen different spectacular sections through the ravine between Hausstein and Hirschwände into the lower storage reservoir. The total height of the falls is 520 metres. Access to the public is via eight wooden staircases and twenty six bridges and it is easily accessible to children who will find it especially exciting.
