The 300 sq. metres of the exhibition space within the Kunstraum are dedicated to contemporary art. Founded in June 1996, this non-profit art association hosts exhibitions, lectures, workshops, discussions, artist talks, readings, screenings and concerts showing the best of international modern and contemporary art as well as being involved in an initiative of public institutions and museums presenting work from the Tyrol, South Tyrol and Trentino. Exhibitions are accompanied by an flexible programmes of events and are aimed at including everyone from children to families to young adults and students.
