Schloss Jedenspeigen perhaps dates from the late 12th century and is first mentioned in 1296. The existing building is the result of several changes and extensions the most significant of which is the reconstruction, by the Kollonitsch family, which took place after its destruction in the 15th century. The castle, however, retained much of its mediaeval character such as the drawbridge and thick, random stone walls of the keep. Over the gate there are the coats of arms of George Seyfried of Kollonitsch and his wife Elena Fuchsin von Fuchsberg. The castle remained in the possession of the Kollonitsch family until 1878 and was finally acquired, in 1985, by the municipality. The building now hosts a museum devoted to the history of the conflict between Rudolf von Habsburg and Ottokar von Böhmen.
