The Grottesbahn, a fairy tale ride through underground tunnels on the Dragon Train, is, reputedly, the most popular tourist attraction in Linz. It was built in 1906 in one of the fortification towers constructed on the Pöstlingberg by Emperor Maximilian and was reconstructed after being damaged during the Second World War. Here you can dip into the fantasy world of fairy tales and dwarves and see an amazing model reconstruction of the old town of Linz. The dwarf theme is even carried on in the facilities for visitors in the shape of the Dwarf WC.
