The Wildpark Hochkreut, a former hunting reserve, lies in an impressive location on a mountain top between Traun and Attersee at 961 metres. The special attraction of the game park is seeing the animals in their natural environment. The park is enclosed by a dense forest giving it a feeling of isolation. The park has over 200 game animals, for example, bison, wild pigs, wild horses and deer. In special enclosures, visitors can stroke the tame donkeys, sheep, goats and owls. During your visit you can refresh yourself at the rustic restaurant in the centre of the park.
