The Dinstlgut Loiben in the Wachau lies in one of the most beautiful wine landscapes of the world, overlooking the spectacular valley of the Danube. With its south facing terraces and temporate climate, it is one of the most favoured places in Austria for the cultivation of vines. The varieties grown here are predominantly the fashionable Grüner Veltliner and more traditional Riesling grapes. In the wineries caves in the rocky slopes you can sample and buy the many different wines.
