The Galerie Brunnhofer, located in Linz since 1998, aims to bring affordable modern art from Austria to the widest possible audience. The gallery has its own permanent exhibition space, which is open to the public, and acts as a publisher and seller for its artists, both digitally and in printed form. So far editions by a number of important contemporary artists have been published. The emphasis is very much on recent painting, drawing, art installations and sculpture with an Austrian bias but the gallery has widened its remit to include cooperative ventures outside Austria.
