The Kunsthalle Krems is the international exhibition centre of Lower Austria. The art gallery specialises in art from the 19th and 20th centuries but also features contemporary works with a strong emphasis on young Austrian artists. The exhibitions are meticulously planned to complement each other in succession. Each individual exhibition takes the shape of a narrative using the most modern presentation technology to show the technical, spiritual and historical significance of the works of art. In this way the gallery makes claim to international leadership in the presentation of modern art.
