The Wallseerkapelle, joined to the parish church, is a jewel of Gothic architecture. The chapel was endowed around 1343 by Reinprecht and Friedrich von Wallsee, who had come to Austria with Rudolf of Habsburg. The chapel has an unusual configuration with a double nave opening into a triple-aisled choir with the altar standing centrally between four columns. There is a sandstone statue of the Madonna in the choir which dates from 1300 and fine 17th century frescos
