The Museum des Priv. unif. Bürgerkorps contains a collection of objects connected with Eggenburg’s University Citizen’s Corps. The museum is located in a four storey 15th century tower which is part of the city walls. The exhibits include an overview of the history of the Corps, the first double eagle Corps flag from the year 1794, documents, minutes of meetings, weapons such as rifles and swords, photographs, uniforms, helmets and other memorabilia. From the tower there is access to parts of the city walls.
