The Alte Hofmühle was once the home of a local aristocrat. The manor has a fine Baroque gate which bears the date 1614. A Slav graveyard was uncovered around the main building. By the early 19th century the building had become a mill and it is said that Napoleon spent a night here in 1805. Today the manor house houses the city museum and cultural association. The permanent exhibitions are devoted to viticulture, the history of Hollabrunn’s market from 1848 to 1908, urban development and porcelain.
