The Wanderweg "Stein & Wein" is a themed circular walk starting at the Krahuletz museum in Eggenburg across Kogelsteine and Fehhaube to Stoitzendorf. The twin themes are drawn from the area’s unique geology on the one hand and the region’s association with viticulture. From Eggenburg the path leads through fields and vineyards to the granite Kogelsteine and Fehhaub, remains of 300 million year old mountains, which attest to the effects of the last ice age. The rich soil, which favours the growth of the vines, is also the result of the ice sheet which once covered the area. In Stoitzendorf there is a chance to visit the famous Kellergasse, a centre of wine production.
