The cemetery on Mariahilfbergstraße in Gutenstein was consectrated in 1833 by the prior of the Servite monastery. Its beautiful cemetery chapel was added in 1905 and is decorated with paintings and sculptures by the stage designer Hubert Aratym. The chapel also has an outstandingly beautiful marble floor by the same designer. The cemetery is the resting place of many famous local actors, writers and painters, for example the memorial to the 19th century playwright Ferdinand Raimund, dating from 1837.
