The Anton Bruckner Geburtshaus became a memorial to the life, career and works of the composer in 1971. Despite a reorganisation of the collections to update the exhibition capabilities of the museum the building retains its intimate character. Here you can see the living quarters, the room where Bruckner was born and a 19th century classroom, where Bruckner was a pupil. There are numerous objects associated with the composer on display notably the original Baroque “Spieltisch” of the organ of the church of St.Florian in Linz.
