The magnificent Baroque church of the abbey of Herzogenburg, which was constructed between 1743 and 1750, has a sumptuous interior. There are a number of fine paintings by Bartolomeo Altomonte, an altarpiece by Daniel Gran, as well as a marvellous painting of the Glorification of The Church by the same artist and a beautiful organ loft. The organ was the work of Joseph Henke and bears an illustration representing King David. The 70 metre high tower, added in 1767 is crowned by the Ducal cap.
